Playtech has been a very prolific company recently. They released 3 games from which the first was excellent, the second not so much, rather ok, and the third one was.. a “Jackpot Giant”. It is hard to tell whether it is a game you might like or not. We somehow enjoyed it, so if you wish to meet a friendly giant, don't hesitate to enter his magical world.
"Jackpot Giant" from Playtech has five reels and fifty paylines, which guarantee you frequent wins even-though often not very high. Graphics? Here Playtech showed that graphics is their specialty. The standard boring symbols (A, K, J, Q, 10) in this game do not irritate you. Craved out of a stone they look almost like Stonehenge. And it wasn't enough. Every time they make a winning combination, they strip, as if they were some kind of pole dancers, showing what they hide underneath their solid rock clothes. The music is ethnic like. Played on drums it intensifies whenever you are close to get a bonus, or a jackpot, and unwillingly you get more exited as well.
We've got 3 special symbols which are certainly raising your chances for winning some serious amounts of coins.
The first of the special symbols is a Scatter, symbolized by a giant's hand holding lots of golden coins. If we roll at least 3 of them we get extra money.
Then there is a Wild, which not only substitutes for any other symbol in the game, but 5 of those on the payline 1 gives you a jackpot which last time I saw it was 311.505,97 quid.
The third one is the Giant Bonus symbol of the volcano. If you catch two of those, you will be able to play in a bonus round. You will be tossing coins into six volcanoes. You have three coins, so you will have to choose which burning mountain you want to burst. Yet no worries, you may win not only cash, but also extra toss, or even Win Them All bonus which grants you all six vulcanoes. The amount of money to win is different in every round.
The last type of symbols in the game are gems. We have three of them: yellow (the cheapest), blue (bit less cheap) and red (the most expensive). Three or more on the payline will give a nice win. The two expanded giant symbols occupy 2 out of 3 positions on the reel, so it is easier to get a winning combo with those.
Whereas the music and graphics are almost great, the amount of money you can win and the betting options are a bit low. So, because of all of those pluses and small minuses it is hard for me to tell whether "Jackpot Giant" is very good or just good. However I'm sure that I really enjoyed playing it.
