Generally speaking “The Pyramid of Ramesses” from Playtech is a 5-reel slot game with 25 paylines. The game takes place inside the pyramid. The background is a very dark purple wall with hieroglyphs. There are ordinary symbols which can be substituted by the WILD scarab. The most important is the Pharaoh symbol. Five on any of the paylines can grant you a jackpot. But even if you aren't lucky enough to get the jack you still get a nice amount of cash. There is also Cleopatra, she doesn't give a possibility of winning a jackpot, but still three or more will make you smile wide. Other symbols are represented by stone tablets with depicting Egyptian gods.

The amount of special symbols isn't very high (to our disposition there are two special symbols), and the number of normal quite high, so it is a bit hard to get a high price win, but not impossible.

The two special symbols are: the Wild symbol, which looks like a scarab and expands on all three positions when it can create a winning combination, and a golden pyramid, which is a symbol with two options. It's quite a lot of American presidents you can get.

The best thing about this game, which I personally really like, is a progressive jackpot, but what is more, you can see it even in the Free Game mode (playing with free credits).

For those who are interested in our personal piece of advice, mute the in game music, and play your own, cause Playtech probably tried to put people playing this game to sleep. I'm not saying that the music is bad, it's just an Egyptian lullaby. Despite the music and the impression of being made in a hurry, the game is no doubt worth playing.

If I was to summarize “The Pyramid of Ramesses” with one sentence I would say “It's OK”. Playtech didn't try hard at all while making this game. In fact they probably made it during the lunch break, or at least that's the impression you get while playing it. Luckily it has got some nice Egyptian style graphics and you may win some nice amounts of cash. So if you like simple games and Egyptian climate you will probably like it.
